Finance/HR Assistant

To keep Brighton in a position to deliver the best services to our clients, we require a talented and driven internal support team.  A team that can not only service our clients but also our employees, whom we call “Brightonians”.  We are in search of an entry level associate to help assist the Executive Director of Finance and HR in her day-to-day operations in the finance and HR roles.

Duties and Responsibilities:   

  • Supporting the effective operations of internal financial programs and procedures, and maintain useful relationships with outside institutions
  • Process semi-monthly payroll including maintaining employee census information
  • Process semi-monthly company 401(k) plan submissions
  • Complete client billings and assist with client budget creation and management
  • Serve as backup for Account Payable and Front Desk
  • Assist with monthend reporting including, but not limited to: journal entries, internally generated reports, bank and other balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Support the employee benefits program, including relationships with insurance companies and brokers; as well as assisting with renewals and enrollments
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with other company executives in matters related to financial planning and control
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:   

  • 2+ years’ experience; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills, including ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and shifting priorities in fast-paced environment
  • Experience in Human Resources with payroll and 401(k) processing a plus
  • A people person who seeks harmony under challenging circumstances by communicating positively with team members, vendors, clients and leadership; ability to work with a wide range of personalities and audiences
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Very strong analytical skills

Associate Media Director

Brighton’s diverse and deeply experienced team combines the best part of a consulting firm — strategic thinking — and the best part of an ad agency — inspired creative — to help our clients think differently about their brand and how to engage their customers.  Our Media Team is the driving force that ensures that all of the the work we do reaches the right consumers at the right time in the right place.

The ideal candidate for our Associate Media Director position has multi-channel experience across various industries, with experience in digital as a requirement.   You must have working knowledge of various pricing models (CPC, CPA, etc.) as well as knowledge of multiple tools and research providers: comScore, Nielsen, MRI.  Candidate should also possess strong negotiation skills, the ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and persuasively, and think strategically. 

Duties and Responsibilities:   

  • Oversee, participate in and manage media investment and optimization across all channels  
  • In partnership with account lead, contribute to the day-to-day strategic integrated media planning activities for assigned account(s)
  • Help develop planning objectives/strategies that coincide with the client’s marketing direction   
  • Lead and oversee the writing of media documents (timelines, POVs, RFPs, plans, agreements, client memos, and correspondence from within and outside the agency)
  • Establish and grow client relationships by demonstrating an understanding of industry and client business issues   
  • Perform in-depth target analysis activities including analyzing 3rd party or primary information and demographics particular to client needs
  • Work with internal offline and online buying teams to gauge media performance and KPIs to determine the extent to which the original objectives and strategies were met
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable and emerging technologies. Understand and adopt new trends and/or processes in interactive/digital media for clients and for Brighton Agency
  • Achieve the financial goals of the account by managing costs, revenue, and scope of work in accordance with client contract   
  • Oversee budget allocation process for all media based on client initiatives and direction; accurately project costs and anticipate the financial results of plan revisions   

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years of media planning and/or buying experience
  • Proven ability to solve clients’ business needs
  • Strong negotiation skills and superior communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work with multiple practices internally according to existing processes
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to grow/expand existing business and strategically participate in successful new business pitches and department-wide initiatives
  • History of providing clients with successful media campaigns
  • Ability to uncover, articulate and implement actionable insights
  • Working knowledge of 3rd party software: specifically, DoubleClick, MRI and the Nielsen suite

Our Creative Directors are the driving force that keeps the creative side of Brighton at the top of its game — they make sure no talent ever goes to waste and the work stays razor sharp. These are crazy-talented people who develop original design concepts, global marketing campaigns and compelling digital media productions. They ensure that the creative delivers on the strategy and they oversee multiple projects through execution, while directly managing a team of creatives. The ability to lead and motivate is essential for the role.

Our Creative Directors have a huge job, and we need people who aren’t afraid to tackle this massive undertaking and still say, “We can do more.” This is a leadership role in every aspect of the word, and we need someone who can represent Brighton — our culture, our strategic thinking and our creative standards — to our clients and to the rest of the agency. Senior Influencer Engagement Manager

At Brighton, influencer engagement combines a number of related disciplines including messaging strategy, media relations, influencer outreach, social media, content development and community management. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and helping execute innovative influencer programs for clients that effectively “break through the noise” and connect by delivering value and results. You’ll work across several clients, side by side with collaborative and committed colleagues across disciplines like brand building, creative, media and insights. And you’ll develop strategy and content for some of the leading brands that reach and engage Farm, Food and Family audiences.


As a key leader on our Influencer Engagement team, you will work with our Customer Insights and Brand Builder teams to propose and implement strategic influencer engagement programs that connect brands and people with thoughtful and engaging marketing solutions.

This is an opportunity to showcase your passion and deep knowledge for media relations, social media, content creation and analysis. Primary responsibilities for the position include:

  • Proactively driving winning ideas forward as part of Brighton’s strategic planning process
