Canine Companions is a non-profit organization that matches service dogs with adults, children and veterans with disabilities completely free of cost. They operate purely on donations, which creates financial constraints and ultimately means many applicants must wait before they can receive their match. Eukanuba (their exclusive dog food partner) teamed up to drive awareness and donations. The video featured Kya and Sprinkle—an actual recipient and her service dog as a retelling of her experience. The video and all promotions not only created an emotional connection with potential donors; they also positioned every donation as a means to help people in need get matched with their own service dog sooner.
