As the Director of Digital Marketing at Brighton, you’ll be the driving force behind all our digital efforts, leading the charge in helping both the agency and our clients thrive in a constantly evolving digital world. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Innovation
- Champion Digital Innovation: Stay at the forefront of digital trends and bring innovative solutions to life, ensuring we’re always one step ahead of the competition.
- Future-Focused Strategy: Create and implement digital strategies that don’t just address today’s needs but also set us and our clients up for success in the future.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a dynamic digital marketing team, encouraging creative thinking, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Client Relations & Growth

Campaign Management & Optimization
- Full Campaign Oversight: Plan, execute, and fine-tune digital campaigns across multiple channels (SEO, PPC, social, email, content, digital media and more) while keeping an eye on performance goals.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Regularly analyze campaign, media data and performance metrics, using insights to optimize campaigns and share results with both clients and internal teams.
- Optimization through Innovation: Embrace cutting-edge tools like AI, real-time bidding, and machine learning to maximize campaign success and ROI.
Adapting to a Changing Ecosystem
- Stay Ahead of Digital Trends: Continuously adapt to new digital platforms and tools, ensuring the agency and clients stay at the forefront of what’s next in the digital space.
- Tech Integration: Identify and integrate automation, AI, and other emerging technologies to boost marketing performance and make processes more efficient.
- Enhance User Experience: Collaborate with UX designers and developers to create seamless, user-friendly digital experiences that improve engagement and conversions.
Creative & Content Leadership
- Lead Creative Strategy: Partner with the creative team to ensure our digital content isn’t just effective, but also innovative, engaging, and reflective of the latest trends.
- Drive Content Strategy: Oversee the creation of content that resonates with target audiences, from interactive campaigns to immersive experiences.
- Collaborative Storytelling: Ensure all digital campaigns tell a cohesive and compelling story, keeping our clients’ brand voice consistent across channels.
Technology & Tools
- Platform Expertise: Be well-versed in major digital platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, HubSpot) and keep exploring new ones (e.g., TikTok, Threads) to push the envelope.
- Data & Analytics: Use tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Tableau to track performance and drive actionable insights for clients.
- Marketing Tech Stack: Continuously review and upgrade our marketing technology stack to ensure we’re leveraging the best tools for client success.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree: In Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s or relevant certifications is a bonus.
- Experience: 8-12 years in digital marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, ideally in an agency setting where innovation and client service are key.
Technical Skills
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Deep knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, content, email marketing, and automation.
- Innovative Thinker: Experience with AI, machine learning, AR/VR, or other cutting-edge tech is a big plus.
- Data-Savvy: Comfortable working with analytics tools to drive decisions and measure success.
