Billing/Accounts Payable Specialist

Brighton Agency is on the hunt for a Billing/Accounts Payable Specialist who’s ready to dive into the details and keep our finance team running like a well-oiled machine.

Here’s what you’ll be up to (and it’s more than just numbers):

• Manage client billings and keep our budget reports on point.
• Be a go-to partner for our account team, making sure client budgets and billing are smooth sailing.
• Keep an eye on aged receivables, following up on overdue invoices like a pro.
• Verify, reconcile, and process accounts payable invoices to keep us in good standing with our vendors.
• Help with our bi-monthly check run and make sure our vendors are all set up with accurate paperwork.
• Reconcile vendor Purchase Orders each month to keep our records solid.

What you bring to the table:

• 2+ years’ experience in a related field.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (a plus, but not required).
• Attention to detail that’s second to none and time management skills to match.
• A knack for building harmony—even when the going gets tough. You communicate with positivity, work well with various personalities, and handle challenges with grace.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and a comfort with Microsoft Office; experience with project management software is a bonus.
