Senior Vice President
Scott is first and foremost a storyteller. For 40 years, he has attributed the success of any enduring brand to authentic and powerful storytelling. With this mindset, he has crafted messaging and executed campaigns that deeply connect with our clients and their audiences. As for his own story, he survived the hustle of the newsroom as a young reporter who stumbled into a passion for agriculture along the way, taking on positions like group publishing director for the Crops Group of Vance Publishing, editor and special projects director for Farm Press Publications and vice-president at FleishmanHillard. Today, we are proud to say that Scott has served his longest stretch at Brighton, where he is currently on the executive committee and leading our agriculture team with strategic direction and brand development. Over his time here, he has led campaigns for brands like Bayer Crop Science, Syngenta, AGRIS Division of Deere, Horizon Ag and Precision Planting. He is also currently president-elect of the National Agri-Marketing Association.
A man of many stories, Scott could tell you all about derailed trains and dynamite. But of all the stories he could share, his personal favorites start with family — especially when they end with a trip to “the happiest place on earth.”
