Brighton Agency's chief operating officer and senior vice president, Jerry Gennaria, is the recipient of a prestigious 2018 Professional Development Award from the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA).
Each year, NAMA recognizes industry leaders who are at the top of their respective fields. Gennaria, a member of the Gateway NAMA chapter, was selected for his experience in a wide range of agricultural sectors and his passion for teaching and mentoring.
Gennaria has nearly 25 years of experience in traditional and digital communications and leads the Strategy and Engagement teams at Brighton, where he is also responsible for agency operations. He plays a key role in providing strategic counsel for Brighton's agricultural clients including Monsanto, Phibro Animal Health and Precision Planting, to name a few. He also led the creation of a brand development tool, Brand Dimension, that helps clients uncover insights to hone and communicate their brand.

Gennaria's contributions extend far beyond the agency walls; he's also made lasting impacts on the greater industry. He's board member for the Clayton Chamber of Commerce and active with ICOM (a global network of more than 80 independent agencies in more than 60 countries). He has been a guest lecturer at Washington University in St. Louis, Saint Louis University and Webster University.
Gennaria is not the first member of Brighton's leadership team to receive a NAMA Award of Excellence. In 2010, Scott McClure, Senior Vice President, was recognized for his contributions in the field of public relations.
